The heart is an amazing organ. It deserves amazing care. Our cardiology team assesses, treats and manages heart disease. We strive to minimize the effects of heart disease and guide every patient to a healthy, happy outcome.

To meet each patient’s specific needs, we collaborate with elite cardiologists and cardiac surgeons from around the Southeast.  Whether a patient requires complex coronary intervention, catheter-based valve replacement, or minimally-invasive heart surgery, we work alongside our partners to coordinate patient referral, transfer of records, and post-procedural outpatient follow up. Our partner-based approach allows our patients to access a wealth of expertise without ever leaving our office.

Our cardiology team also provides pacemaker and cardiac device care. We offer Holter and event monitoring to assist patients with symptoms of dizziness, palpitations and loss of consciousness. We interrogate and tune all major electrophysiological medical devices, including pacemakers and defibrillators.

We test, monitor and manage patients’ levels of Coumadin, a blood thinner, through the most modern finger prick testing system, which yields immediate results.   We also offer cardio-oncology care — addressing the effects of cancer on the heart — through a partnership with University Cancer and Blood Center.
