Brittany has been with Lake Country Medical Group for almost 7 years. She and her husband Kyle live in Madison, GA. They have two children and are expecting their third child in February. Their daughter Riley is eight years old and  loves to ride horses and play soccer. Jackson, their son, is four and loves dinosaurs and playing with friends. 

 

Brittany is the lead medical assistant for Lake Country Medical Group. Her responsibilities include rooming patients, obtaining medical history, checking vitals, performing EKG’s, and many other types of medical testing. She also manages our Coumadin and Pacemaker Clinics.

What’s your favorite part of your job at Lake Country Medical Group?

One of my  favorite parts of working at Lake Country Medical Group is getting to know the patients and talking with them at each visit. A lot of the patients come in regularly and I enjoy developing an authentic relationship with them. Another favorite part of working at Lake Country Medical group are my coworkers. My coworkers are like family. We are always there for each other and I know I can always count on them.    

 

Why did you choose this profession? 

I have always wanted to work in the medical field because I enjoy helping people and my community. I also love how every patient is different and there is always something new to learn. 

 

What are your favorite things to do when you’re not working? What do you do for fun? 

When I am not working, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I also love to read and spend time outdoors.
